Robert McKee quote in documentary, "Hellbound?" (quote 1)

Mr. McKee, a writer & a creative writing professor, & a self-professed atheist, said something in documentary, "Hellbound?," which correlates so closely to what Islam says (since, I have no knowledge of Christianity or Judaism in this regard, I can't comment on it).

If you, as a Muslim, are planning to pray (or fast, or give alms, or perform pilgrimage etc), or planning to ask for forgiveness, or planning to leave a sinful activity, then you've "got to take care of it today" because, "if you don't take care of it today," & if you die, then "you die with a mortal sin on your soul" & you could be punished for it for a very long period, if not eternity.
